Terms of Service
Effective as of September 2026. These terms replace any prior version.
1. Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the paid and free services offered by limousine-list.com (the "Site") to limousine, chauffeur, and private transportation companies (the "Client"), including:
- the free directory listing, available in exchange for a link back to the Site from the Client's own website;
- Premium plans (one-time payment, fixed duration);
- sponsored placements on city and airport pages, billed as a recurring monthly subscription;
- any other paid visibility option offered on the Site.
The Site is intended for businesses acting in a professional capacity. By creating an account, the Client confirms they are authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of their business.
2. Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes full acceptance of these Terms. By clicking "Pay with PayPal," "Choose," "Subscribe," or a similar button, and completing payment through PayPal, the Client confirms they have read and accepted these Terms, including the sections on non-refundable payments (Section 6) and subscription cancellation (Section 5).
3. Pricing
All prices are listed in US dollars (USD). The price shown on the Site at the time of purchase applies. We may change our prices at any time; a new price applies to subscription renewals occurring after notice, and the Client may cancel under Section 5 if they do not agree to the new price.
4. Payment, Billing & Activation
Payment is made exclusively online through PayPal. The Client warrants they are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Service is activated after payment is confirmed by PayPal. Fixed-term services (Premium) run for the duration selected at purchase (e.g. 30 or 365 days) and do not auto-renew. Sponsored placements are billed monthly under Section 5.
A payment record is available in the Client's dashboard, under "Subscription."
5. Monthly Subscriptions — Renewal & Cancellation
Sponsored placements are billed as a monthly subscription that renews automatically each billing cycle via PayPal, for the same amount, until cancelled.
Cancellation notice: the Client may cancel at any time, but must do so at least 30 days before the next billing date. A cancellation request received less than 30 days before the renewal takes effect at the following billing cycle; the upcoming charge and the corresponding month remain fully due and non-refundable.
How to cancel: from the dashboard ("Placements" / "Subscription" tab), or by emailing our contact address. The Client may also cancel billing directly through their PayPal account; doing so cancels future charges but does not refund amounts already charged, including the current billing period.
Once cancellation takes effect, the placement is released, featured status ends, and the listing reverts to the free plan. No prorated refund is issued.
We may suspend or terminate a subscription for non-payment, a failed recurring charge, or a breach of these Terms, without refund.
6. No Refunds — Payments Are Final
All payments are final and non-refundable. Once a payment is confirmed by PayPal, no refund, credit, or offset will be issued, in whole or in part, for any reason, including:
- non-use, partial use, or under-use of the service;
- cancelling a subscription before its term ends, or a change of mind;
- closing, suspending, or deleting the account or listing at the Client's request;
- suspension or removal of service by us due to a Client breach (unlawful content, spam, fraud, non-payment, or violation of these Terms);
- results the Client considers insufficient (contacts, clicks, traffic, or bookings) — we provide the service on a best-efforts basis only (Section 9);
- temporary site downtime, maintenance, or technical changes;
- the current billing period at the time of cancellation, which remains fully due.
The Client acknowledges that the price paid reserves a limited visibility slot (each page offers a capped number of placements) that is made available immediately, which is why payments are non-refundable. This is a material term of the agreement.
7. No Right of Withdrawal
Because the Client contracts as a business for professional purposes, consumer-protection rules on cancellation "cooling-off" periods do not apply. The Client expressly requests that service begin immediately upon payment confirmation and waives any right of withdrawal that might otherwise apply.
8. Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
- provide accurate, current, and non-misleading information (business identity, contact details, licensing, insurance, website);
- not publish unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or infringing content;
- not engage in spam, manipulative SEO practices, fake reviews, or ranking manipulation;
- for the free plan: keep the agreed dofollow link to the Site live on their own website;
- hold all licenses, permits, and insurance required for limousine or chauffeur operations in the jurisdictions where they operate (e.g. state or provincial transportation authority permits, for-hire vehicle licenses, and applicable municipal requirements).
Any breach entitles us to suspend or remove the listing and/or placement, without refund.
9. Nature of the Service — Best Efforts Only
The Site is a directory and advertising platform. We provide the service on a best-efforts basis and do not guarantee any particular ranking, traffic volume, number of contacts, calls, or bookings, or any revenue outcome. Search rankings, site traffic, and visitor behavior are outside our control and cannot form the basis of a claim or refund request.
The Site is provided "as is." We may change features, layout, and the placement of sponsored spots, and may temporarily suspend access for maintenance.
10. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
If the Client disagrees with a charge or invoice, they agree to contact our support team first and attempt to resolve the issue directly, before filing a dispute, chargeback, or cancellation request with PayPal, their bank, or card issuer.
Given Section 6, no paid and activated service is eligible for a refund. Accordingly, any chargeback or payment dispute filed for a service that was actually delivered is considered unwarranted. In that case, we reserve the right to:
- submit these Terms, proof of acceptance at checkout, account logs, PayPal payment confirmation, and proof of service delivery to contest the dispute;
- immediately suspend the Client's account and all associated services;
- seek payment of the disputed amount plus any dispute or processing fees charged by PayPal or the bank;
- decline future orders from the Client.
11. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to proven fault and direct, foreseeable damages. Indirect damages (lost business, lost revenue, reputational harm, data loss) are excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount the Client actually paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by listed businesses, or for the contractual relationship between a listed business and its own customers.
12. Suspension & Termination for Breach
In case of non-payment, a failed recurring charge, fraudulent use, non-compliant content, or any other breach of these Terms, we may suspend or terminate the Client's account, listing, and/or subscription, without refund, after notice (or immediately in cases of serious harm, fraud, or legal risk).
13. Personal Data
Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. Payment data is processed by PayPal under its own terms.
14. Intellectual Property
For as long as a listing is published, the Client grants us a non-exclusive license to display the material they provide (business name, logo, text, photos, link) for the purpose of operating and promoting the directory. The Client warrants they own or control the rights to that material.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of an order applies to that order. For subscriptions, updated Terms apply from the next renewal after publication; a Client who disagrees may cancel under Section 5.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Limousine List operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally under Section 10 will be handled in the courts of competent jurisdiction for that location.
17. Contact
Questions about an order, subscription, or payment should be sent through our Contact page. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
