Moving a Group: Multiple Sedans, a Van, a Shuttle or a Coach?

Booking a car is simple. Moving a group — a conference delegation, a wedding block, a corporate offsite — is a logistics problem. The right answer depends on group size, whether everyone travels at once, and how many pickup points are involved.

Up to ~6: Multiple Sedans or One SUV

For a small group arriving on different flights or at different hotels, individual sedans let people move on their own schedule. For 4–6 traveling together with luggage, one SUV is cheaper and keeps them together.

~7–14: Sprinter or Executive Van

One van keeps a mid-size group together with luggage in a single vehicle. Above ~10 passengers with checked bags, confirm the luggage configuration.

~15–50: Shuttle Loop or a Coach

• Shuttle loop: one or two vans run a continuous circuit between two fixed points for a set window. Best when arrival times are spread out.
• Motor coach: everyone moves at once in a single 40–56 seat vehicle. Best for a scheduled departure.

50+: A Coordinated Fleet

Multiple coaches on a staggered schedule, usually with an on-site coordinator managing loading. At this scale, book a company that does event logistics specifically.
